During the Night of the Stars 2025, at Erick Barrondo Park in Guatemala City, the Aerospace Laboratory celebrated the advances of the QUETZAL-2 project. Students from Mechanical Engineering and Industrial Mechanical Engineering shared their experiences and lessons learned in the project.

During the scientific outreach program Science from the Vice Presidency, held at the National Palace of Culture, José Antonio Bagur, coordinator and researcher at the Aerospace Laboratory of Universidad del Valle de Guatemala (UVG), presented advances on the QUETZAL-2 satellite.
